With our growing numbers, we felt the need to change our location to allow space for more women to attend HER events and also free up more space for our community to grow. Our move from hosting at Skyz Naguru to now Motiv Uganda has been great and allowed female entrepreneurs in the food industry to get a chance to showcase their products.

We are excited and pleased about the growth and for November, in anticipation of Prof. Dr. Maggie Kigozi, our guest speaker on all things investments. As a pioneer for many women in Uganda in the government and corporate world, she has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to impact our community. A bit of background on Dr Maggie Kigozi, she is a medical doctor by profession and served for 11 years as the CEO of the Uganda Investment Authority. She has skills in investment promotion, facilitation and advocacy with a focus on Entrepreneurship and economic empowerment of women and youth.

We invite and welcome women; whether in business, career or studying, to attend for riveting conversations, exposure to new networks and to discover businesses and service providers based in Uganda and outside who will be in attendance.

Businesswomen can showcase their products and talk about their businesses and passions. HER monthly meet-up provides more than interactions, it provides a space for women to come together to grow as a community and receive the resources they need to be better.

All women are welcome to join us.

Reach out to HER team at +256 772 202 190 to purchase your tickets at the upcoming event on the 24th of November, starting at 5 pm EAT, at Motiv 7K Old Port Bell Road.

HER monthly meet-up is a women-only event for African Working Women to meet, network, and grow through our community and the resources provided. To become part of the HER community or invite a lady who could greatly benefit from our community – click here.
