It’s time for us to shine as a collaborative community of women! We will have a discussion about our partnerships and collaborations at the January HER monthly meet-up, on the 27th of January at Motiv Uganda.
Unlike our previous HER monthly meet-ups, we are doing it bigger, different and definitely better this month. The end-of-year event for HER community will be on the 16th of December, at Protea Skyz Hotel in Naguru, from 5 pm till late.
With our growing numbers, we felt the need to change our location to allow space for more women to attend HER events and also free up more space for our community to grow. Our move from hosting at Skyz Naguru to now Motiv Uganda has been great and allowed for female entrepreneurs in the food industry to get a chance to showcase their products
September month we covered boundaries; work, personal and life. Boundaries are crucial and having them set up is not enough, they need to be communicated. While there are unspoken boundaries, there is a need to share with family members, relatives, colleagues and friends your personal boundaries. Reinforce them regularly and align them with your values.
HER Monthly meet-up is an event organized for women to come together, learn, network and interact with like-minded women. They occur every last Thursday of the month and women from the HER community come together.
HER community throws monthly meet-ups every last Thursday of the month. July’s meet-up was graced by our guest speaker, Samantha Tinkamanyire on the theme of Customer Experience.
